Audio interfaces
Any USB audio interface with an instrument (Hi-Z) input works. On iPad and iPhone the interface has to be USB class compliant, working without a driver; on the Mac, interfaces that use the maker’s driver work too. Interfaces that are not in the table below still offer every input and output the device reports.
For the interfaces below the app knows the real connectors, so it shows the channel counts to match them. Virtual channels such as loopback, ADAT and S/PDIF, and headphone outputs that carry the same signal as the monitor outputs are not counted. When a device reports fewer channels, the smaller number is used, and each path picks its input from IN 1–4. “Tested” means checked with the interface connected; “Maker spec” means added from the official manual and specifications.
